What is does "Etki" mean?
Etki is a Turkish word meaning impact, effect or influence — the power of a person, idea, action or system to create a change in something beyond itself.
The word is Turkish in origin and is associated with the verb etmek, meaning “to do” or “to act.” Its modern usage became established in Turkish during the language reforms of the 1930s, when etki came into wider use for concepts previously expressed through words such as tesir and nüfuz.
For us, the name represents more than an effect or outcome. Etki is what happens when knowledge becomes action, relationships become collaboration, and individual contributions create value beyond the individual.
That is why we describe Etki as an Impact Network.
